Marchmont Gallery was established in July 2004.
It is owned by James Sutherland, who worked for eleven years with a reputable picture framer and gallery in Edinburgh before deciding to branch out on his own.

His aim is to offer a quality picture framing service whilst supporting and displaying work by new and up-and-coming artists and crafts people. As a result, the gallery has a variety of original paintings, mostly by local artists, as well as a varied stock of hand-crafted goods, mainly, but not exclusively, Scottish.

The picture framing side of the business is currently carried out on the premises. James caters for all types of framing however small, large or unusual the requirements, at very competitive rates.
