Keith Thompson trained at Edinburgh College of Art and has been
exhibiting since 1997. Keith works out of his studio at St. Margaret's House, Artscomplex, and splits his creative energies between large-scale figurative  painting and design work. He is a keen portrait painter, although he has recently
returned to etching and screenprinting for some designs. Keith draws on many influences for his work, currently themes such as Structure, Sequence and Memory.

He has exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy, most recently at the
2010 Open Exhibition, and other numerous galleries.
