As a Combined Studies graduate Rhona works in two disciplines - painting and jewellery/small silversmithed objects.

" I find my work is influenced by the surrounding landscape, cityscape and figures within it. In particular I am fascinated by the fleeting changes in light which can affect our landscape so dramatically. My jewellery has recently been influenced by research into the Paisley pattern. From this I initially created a pair of napkin holders as a gift for friends. The ‘spin off’ from this has been patterns which I will use for individual jewellery pieces as well as small silversmithed pieces. I work mainly in sterling silver."
