Melanie works from her studio 'The Hearth' in Horsley, Northumberland. Born in 1972 in Stalybridge, Cheshire, Melanie went on to study Foundation Art and Design at Tameside College of Technology, Ashton-under-Lyne and completed a BA(Hons) Degree in Ceramic Design at Staffordshire University in 1995.
